Extravaganza Basket and Silent auction
Ice costs and operation costs for BGSC keep climbing. In order to keep programming costs down, we need to continue to hold fundraisers. We are going to try a low key fundraiser for Extravaganza.
Here is how it works. Each group is assigned a theme. Your skater in that group will donate an item that fits the theme. One item per skater (but you are welcome to donate more). The item does not have to be expensive. Each item is usually under $10. The idea is that if everyone in the group contributes to the basket it makes a beautiful basket to auction off.
Annie – Hard Knock Life Skaters – Art Basket
Frozen Skaters – Summer Fun Basket
Singing in the Rain Skaters – Gardening Basket
Solo and Duet Skaters in Elementary School – Baking Basket
Solo and Duet Skaters in Middle & High School – Spa Pampering Basket
Saturday April 5. This way we can assemble the baskets and have them ready for Extravaganza.
We will also have some items up for silent auction that didn’t fit into baskets. The BGSC Board has been working behind the scenes soliciting donations from corporations and sponsors. If you have a silent auction item that would like to donate that doesn’t fit into a basket, let us know, we can use it.
If you would like to donate a basket as a family – let us know.

April 2 and 5 — Photo Call
Directly after Youth Skating. All skaters need to plan to be available for one of these two dates. The photographer does not have many openings to accommodate us at any other time. All group numbers, features, and solos should have their picture taken during this time.
This only leaves a very short time for the program to be completed. More details closer to the time.
